Anger can move fast. By the time you recognize it, your voice, words, body or decisions may already be creating consequences. The goal is not to pretend you will never feel angry. It is to recognize the stress pattern earlier and build control over what happens next.
Attainable Family Solutions offers anger-management counseling for people seeking change voluntarily and for people referred by a court, probation officer, diversion program, employer or attorney.
Anger Is a Pattern You Can Learn to Interrupt
Using the Stress Model, we look beyond the final outburst and map the full sequence: the trigger, the interpretation, the emotion, the unmet need, the level of activation and the response that followed.
You will work on practical skills for noticing escalation, pausing before acting, communicating without intimidation, tolerating frustration, repairing harm and responding differently when the same trigger returns.
Voluntary Anger Management
You do not need a court order to begin. People often seek anger-management counseling because conflict is damaging a marriage, frightening children, creating workplace problems or making them feel controlled by reactions they regret later.
Voluntary counseling can be provided in a group or individual format depending on current availability and the nature of the concern.
Court, Probation & Diversion Referrals
Court-related requirements are not interchangeable. Orders may specify the type of service, number of hours, delivery format, deadline, provider qualifications and documentation required.
Bring the complete written order or referral before enrolling. We will compare it with the services currently offered and, when appropriate, communicate with the referring professional. Acceptance is determined by the court, probation officer, diversion program or other referring authority; no provider can guarantee that an unspecified service will satisfy an order.
Current Group Information
- Schedule: Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.

Individual & Domestic-Violence Counseling
Individual counseling may be appropriate when group participation does not match the written requirement, when privacy or clinical needs require individual work, or when the referral specifies live one-to-one counseling.
The practice currently describes live, in-person individual services for certain 20-hour misdemeanor and 50-hour felony domestic-violence requirements. These are not assumed to fit every order. The complete referral must be reviewed before enrollment.
